Brazil: planted agricultural area 2018, by state

In 2018, Mato Grosso was the Brazilian state with the largest planted area for agricultural production, amounting to more than 15.5 million hectares. Paraná ranked second, with nearly 10.5 million hectares planted with permanent and temporary crops. The planted area for agricultural production in Brazil amounted to 78.5 million hectares that year.
