According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, as of February 2024, 39 percent of the respondents who did not consume plant-based food stated that their reason was the difficulty in finding these products where they lived. The same survey also revealed that around 86 percent of Vietnamese respondents had consumed plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products.
