Production of salt in Egypt 2011-2018
As of 2018, the estimated volume of salt production in Egypt was 1.7 million metric tons. Compared to the previous year, this was a drop from 1.75 million metric tons. During the period under review, production of the product peaked in 2012 at 2.8 million metric tons.
