Interest in growing legal cannabis by age US 2019

The cannabis industry is relatively new to the United States. However, it has gained traction since the legalization of recreational marijuana in a rapidly increasing number of U.S. states. Not only is it legal to use and carry marijuana in these states, it is also often legal to grow. Although, there are usually limits to this when not commercial. According to the source, in 2019, 42 percent of respondents aged 18 to 24 said that they would definitely or probably grow marijuana if it was legal to do so. Comparatively, only 13 percent of respondents aged over 65 stated they would definitely or probably grow marijuana personally, if it was legal.
