Incidence of syphilis in Cuba 2013-2020
The number of new cases of syphilis in Cuba was on the rise between 2013 and 2017. Since then and up until 2019, the incidence of the disease in the country decreased, reaching 4.27 thousand new cases diagnosed. However, the number of cases rose in 2020, with 4.52 thousand people diagnosed with the disease. In that year, new cases of gonorrhea in the country also increased.
