PFAS, or non-biodegradable harmful substances which can be found in the ground in many places, are no longer allowed to be transported in the Netherlands because of a stricter environmental policy. This has consequences for large dredging companies, but also for small self-employed, such as gardeners.
Is this an issue the Dutch are worried about? Roughly half of respondents to this survey stated to be worried about PFAS, with just under 15 percent expressing serious concerns. By comparison, 11 percent of participants stated not to worried at all.
To what extent are you worried about the problems around PFAS?
