New Zealand: same-sex couples resident civil unions number 2019

In 2019, there were around 18 same-sex couple resident civil unions registered in New Zealand, a decrease from the number recorded in 2005. The first civil unions in the country were celebrated in 2005, and the first same-sex marriages were celebrated in 2013.
