In 2018, the employment rate for graduates of higher educational institutes in Seoul, South Korea was 69 percent. Overall, graduates enjoyed higher employment rates if they studied in the Seoul capital area, which included Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi province. Every year, graduates outside the capital area had employment rates that were one or two percent lower than rates for those in the capital region.
