Share of female doctoral graduates in 2018-2019, by macro-region
This statistic shows the share of women among individuals graduated from doctoral courses in Italy in the academic year 2018/2019, broken down by macro-region of the university. According to data, the highest percentage of female PhD graduates was registered in the South of Italy, where roughly 56 percent of all students graduated from doctoral courses were women.
