Aesthetic procedures in Brazil 2014-2020
In 2020, Brazil performed approximately 1.9 million cosmetic/aesthetic procedures (including both surgical and non-surgical), down from 2.57 million interventions completed in 2019, just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. That year, the South American country had the second largest number of cosmetic procedures in the world, being liposuction the most common surgical intervention.
