As of 2021, the most popular surgical cosmetic procedure performed in Brazil was liposuction, accounting for 15.5 percent of all interventions. Silicon implants ranked second, with approximately 14 percent of all procedures. Abdominoplasty, blepharoplasty, and gluteoplasty were performed to a lesser extent. As of that year, the most common non-surgical cosmetic procedure in Brazil was injections of botulinum toxin.
