Alternative legal services used by small law firms in the U.S. 2016-2018
In 2018, 37 percent of small law firms in the United States used alternative legal services providers (ALSP) for legal research activities, an increase from 11 percent during the 2016 survey. By 2021, 56 percent of U.S. corporations are expected to use alternative legal service providers for regulatory risk and compliance services.
