From 2015 to 2019, the number of visitors to the Marechaussee Museum in Buren, in the Netherlands, fluctuated. In 2011, the museum welcomed roughly 13.7 thousand people. After peaking at about 23.6 thousand in 2018, the number of visitors decreased to 20.2 thousand in 2019. The Marechaussee is one of the four branches of the national armed forces' museums. It is the oldest police museum in the Netherlands and has a collection on the history of the Marechaussee.
