In 2019/20, it was found that over 87 percent of patients who underwent a hip replacement procedure in England felt that their hip problems were much better afterwards, a further eight percent would rate their problems as a little better. On the other hand, 1.2 percent of respondents reported feeling much worse after the hip replacement surgery.
