Credit cards and debit cards per capita in Norway 2012-2022
Credit cards per capita in Norway increased to reach a value of more than one card per person in 2022. Debit cards were found in roughly the same amount in the country, as debit card penetration also reached more than three cards per person that year. The numbers provided are estimates, based on the figures central banks have to supply. Owning a payment card does not immediately indicate it gets used often, as there are large differences within Europe when it comes to the use of certain payment methods.
