Production growth of selected products during COVID-19 pandemic in China 2020

During the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in China, total industrial production value dropped by 13.5 percent in January and February 2020 compared to the previous year. However, the production volume of several product categories increased considerably due to the pandemic. Production volume of facial masks increased 127.5 percent, while that of instant noodles increased by 11.4 percent.
