In the week commencing March 30, 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, 42 percent of health care and social assistance services in Australia indicated that they had implemented work from home policies for staff. In all other industry areas the opportunity to work from home was not as wide spread, with only a quarter of professional, scientific and technical services indicating that they changed staff locations, and 20 percent or under for the construction and retail trade industries.
