Smart home shipments Europe 2021

Over the time period shown in the statistic smart home device shipments have exceeded 20 million units in every quarter, except for the first two quarters of 2020 at the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Shipments are especially strong in the fourth quarter of each year with Christmas period sales typically pushing unit shipments of smart home devices above 30 million units. As of the second quarter of 2021, Amazon is now the leading European smart home device vendor, with Samsung and Google close behind.
