In 2019, online skilled-based games generated by far the highest tax revenues of the online gambling market in Italy. Data showed that tax revenues from skilled-based games amounted to almost 244 million euros. That was more than the half of all tax revenues generated by online gambling in Italy in 2019. Furthermore, fixed-odds sports betting registered the second-highest figure, with tax revenues for 174 million euros.
