Per capita transport emissions in Turkey increased by almost 40 percent between 2013 and 2018. This was the greatest change in per capita transport emissions in G20 countries, with other noticeable increases observed in India and China. In comparison, a number of countries such as France, Japan and Saudi Arabia experienced reduced transport emissions during this period.
