Attitudes towards the legalization of sports betting in the U.S. 2019

After the Supreme Court's decision to strike down the federal ban on sports betting in the United States in May 2018, various states have legalized, or introduced legislation to legalize, the sports betting industry. While there are still some states that are yet to legalize sports betting, the public seemed to generally support the pastime. According to a 2019 survey, 63 percent of respondents supported the 2018 legalization of sports betting in the United States.
