As of June 2019, 19 securities firms were providing financial advice or asset management services using robo-advisor. It was estimated that the value of assets under management of robo-advisors in South Korea would amount 30 trillion South Korean won until 2025. Robo-advisor refers to an online asset management service that performs asset management using algorithms and big data.
