Turnover of passengers in public transport in Russia 2022, by mode of transportation

The total turnover of the air transport sector in Russia amounted to 46.5 billion passengers per kilometer in the first quarter of 2022, making it the transportation mode with the highest traffic in the country. Railways, which listed in the second place, transferred over a twofold lower volume of passengers relative to the leader in the equivalent period.
