ETF as primary investment in portfolios by generation U.S. 2019

In 2019, almost 80 percent of Millennial ETF investors in the United States said that they expected ETFs to be their primary investment type in the future, whereas only 37 percent of Boomer ETF investors said the same. Exchange traded funds are investment funds traded on the stock exchange and the value of ETF assets has risen significantly over the past two decades globally.
