Types of mobile phones owned by children & teenagers Costa Rica 2019
During a 2018/2019 survey, nearly 84 percent of children and teenage students in Costa Rica stated owning a smartphone, while about nine percent of those surveyed said to have a conventional mobile phone. In 2019, there were over three million smartphone holders among the whole Costa Rican population and it has been estimated that this number will gradually grow to reach 3.95 million users by 2025.
