Export volume of petroleum from Algeria 1990-2022
In 2022, the exports of crude oil and petroleum products from Algeria corresponded to around 986,000 barrels per day. The volume increased compared to the previous year. Moreover, in the period under review, the export volume peaked at approximately 1.7 million barrels per day in 2007. A significant drop occurred in the following years, concurrently with the global economic downturn of 2008 and 2009. This decline was observed in the volume of both crude oil and petroleum products exports from the country.
