Proved crude oil reserves in Africa by main countries 2020

Libya had the largest amount of crude oil reserves in Africa in 2020, 48.36 billion barrels. Nigeria followed with 36.97 billion barrels, while Algeria cumulated 12.2 billion barrels. For the same year, total crude oil reserves in Africa stood at 125.8 billion barrels.
