Japan: share of mobile device users who shared municipality online by age

According to a survey conducted in December 2019, almost half of Japanese smartphone and tablet users aged 70 years and above had disclosed the village, town, or city where they lived online. People in their sixties and seventies were the most likely to share their municipality on the internet. A breakdown of all surveyed types of information showed that the most commonly disclosed information among respondents was the user's gender.
