According to a worldwide survey on the Black Friday forecasts in 2020, 96 percent of respondents from the United Arab Emirates stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed their general shopping behavior in 2020. More than 60 percent of respondents all over the world agreed that the pandemic caused them to change their shopping behaviors, with the strongest impact on Asia, the Middle East region, and European countries that were severely hit by the virus.
