Argentina: number of fintech companies 2018-2020
According to a survey carried out in Argentina, the number of fintech companies more than doubled between 2018 and 2020. While in 2018 a total of 133 fintech companies were operating on Argentine territory, two years later the number had grown over 100 percent, reaching 268 fintechs. Digital payments was the business sector with the highest concentration of fintech startups in Argentina.
