Growth rate of capital investment in Nigeria 2022, by type
In the first quarter of 2022, capital investments in Nigeria grew by 17.6 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. In particular, the largest increase was registered in portfolio investments (bonds, equity, and money market instruments), at 1.7 percent. Similarly, other investments, including trade credits, loans, currency deposits, and other claims, achieved a total growth rate of 40.7 percent.
