In May and June 2021, no crude oil imports were registered in Ghana. In April of the same year, crude oil imported into the country amounted to a total of 13.18 million U.S. dollars, which was a considerable increase compared to the five preceding months. Within the observed period, the highest value of crude oil imports was achieved in October 2019 at 79.94 million U.S. dollars.
Generally, the reviewed monthly values fluctuated heavily. Overall, as of April 2021 in Ghana, 184 thousand barrels of crude oil were produced per day.
