Change rate of commercial vehicle sales in India FY 2002-2022
In fiscal year 2022, the commercial vehicles witnessed an increase in the sales volume by 26 percent, in comparison to the preceding year. 2021 saw two years of decrease, some of the reasons for this were changes in axle load norms, allowing the vehicle owners to carry more load, changes in pollution norms, and a general slowdown of the economy due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
