Monthly import value growth rate in Italy 2019-2021
During 2020, the import value into Italy experienced a decrease. The largest loss was recorded between February and April, the months of the first COVID-19 lockdown. As of September 2021, however, the import value bounced back by 22.5 percent compared to September 2020. According to recent projections, imports in the country are estimated to increase in 2021. Estimations of Italian exports show a similar scenario.
