Most used payment methods for cross-border e-commerce in Colombia 2020
During a 2020 survey, 55 percent of digital shoppers in Colombia said that credit cards were their preferred way to pay for international online purchases, whereas 46 percent stated they would rather use Pagos Seguros en Línea (PSE), an alternative type of bank transfer. That year, online shoppers in the South American country were expected to have spent approximately 5.5 billion U.S. dollars on e-commerce while using international credit cards.
