Performance of key agricultural products in Kenya 2021
As of 2021, the agricultural sector in Kenya registered an overall contraction of 0.2 percent in comparison to the preceding year. Among the main Kenyan agricultural items, the production of sugarcane accelerated by roughly 15 percent compared to 2020. Tea production fell by 5.6 percent. While wheat production recorded the biggest declined by roughly 39 percent. Furthermore, Kenya's horticulture exports grew by 0.08 percent.
