Mineral production value breakdown in India FY 2021-2022, by sector
In the financial year 2021-22, India's private sector accounted for the largest market share of domestic mineral production. With a mineral production value of approximately 777.13 billion Indian rupees, the private sector accounted for more than half of India's mine production that year. Meanwhile, India's public sector mines accounted for a 41.5 percent share of the country's mineral production.
