Algeria: natural gas export pipelines capacity

As of 2021, the Enrico Mattei (TransMediterranean) was the natural gas export pipeline with the largest capacity in Algeria, at 34 billion cubic meters per year. This pipeline originated from Algeria to reach Italy and was established in 1982. The proposed Trans-Saharan Gas pipeline followed with a total capacity between 20 billion and 30 billion cubic meters per year.
