Natural gas rents as a share of GDP in Algeria 2010-2021
Natural gas rents accounted for approximately eight percent of Algeria's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2021. The share increased compared to the previous year, indicating a peak in the period under review. Algeria is the main natural gas producer in Africa, with a production volume of around 100 billion standard cubic meters in 2021.
