Fintech companies: total investment EMEA 2022

Investments into fintech companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) decreased notably in 2022, with each quarter recording lower investment values than the previous one. In the fourth quarter of 2022, the total value of investments was 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, the lowest value since the second quarter of 2020. The largest value of investments was made in the third quarter of 2019, when investment into fintech companies in the EMEA region reached a value of 52.4 billion U.S. dollars.
