Barriers to bank account ownership in Angola 2019-2020
Lack of money was reported by Angolans as the main obstacle to having a bank account. That was the reason cited by 29 percent of adults without an account in the country. Insufficient documentation was addressed as a barrier by 18 percent of respondents, while 12 percent mentioned not knowing how to open a bank account.
