Primary energy consumption in Spain 2022, by fuel
In 2022, the total consumption of primary energy in Spain amounted to nearly 5.8 exajoules. Oil was the most used fuel, followed by natural gas, which combined accounted for more than 66 percent of the country's primary energy consumption.
