
Main digital processes adopted in the global exhibition industry 2021, by region
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, exhibition companies worldwide canceled several in-person events and explored digital formats in 2020 and 2021. According to a June 2021 study, 67 percent of exhibition companies in Asia and the Pacific added digital services or products around their existing exhibitions. Meanwhile, 57 percent of surveyed businesses in North America developed a digital transformation or strategy for individual exhibitions or products.
