Gen Z touring preferences when looking for a rental apartment in the U.S. 2020

Despite the reputation of Gen Zers as the most tech savvy generation, native to the digital world, Gen Z apartment hunters still prefer seeing the apartment in person before renting it. Approximately 43 percent of surveyed Gen Z respondents preferred touring with an agent, while 29 chose self-guided tours. While this might be the case, 23 percent of respondents opted for virtual/video tours.
