Households with improved, not shared sanitation India 2005-2016, by wealth group
In the year 2015-16, around 93 percent of households from the highest wealth group had improved, not shared sanitation in India. In the same year, around six percent of households from the lowest wealth group had improved, not shared sanitation. The total share of households with improved, not shared sanitation grew from 29 percent in 2005-06 to almost 48 percent in 2015-16.
