Bank account penetration rate in Tunisia 2022, by area
Around 40 percent of the adults living in urban areas in Tunisia owned a bank account as of 2022. On the other hand, according to the survey, bank account ownership in rural Tunisia stood at 20.3 percent. The average penetration rate was 34 percent in the same year.
