Main construction projects in Central Africa 2020

As of 2020, Cameroon hosted the most valuable construction project in Central Africa, the Nachtigal Falls Hydroelectric Plant. Worth 1.4 billion U.S. dollars, the project is expected to begin operations in 2023. Of the leading ten infrastructure projects in Central Africa, most of them took place in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Overall, the region had infrastructure and capital projects worth in total 6.4 billion U.S. dollars.
