Across many product categories, the British mostly prefer to have orders delivered the next day or within two to three business days after purchase. The home delivery timeline was particularly shorter for alcohol, as seven percent of respondents in the United Kingdom mentioned 'within the hour' as the expected delivery duration in that segment. Grocery, in turn, registered the highest percentage of UK consumers who preferred same-day delivery.
