Netherlands remote work by education level 2020

In 2020, 3.67 million people were working from home in the Netherlands. 2.47 million of those were highly educated workers, an increase of almost 200 thousand compared to the previous year and an increase of 700 thousand compared to 2013. Approximately one million of those working from home completed a middle education, slightly down from the previous year but still more than every other since 2013. The education level with the fewest people working from home was low education workers, with only 201 thousand working remotely. The amount of people working from home with a low education level has barely changed over the years, with the highest number in 225 thousand in 2013 and 201 thousand in 2020.
