Share of people that have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic 2020
In April and May of 2020, 3.8 percent of respondents reported that they had lost their job permanently due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands, while in Belgium and Luxembourg 2.8 percent and 3 percent respectively reported that they had lost their job permanently. Most people lost their job temporarily in Belgium at 14.4 percent of respondents, compared to 12 percent in the Netherlands and 10.6 percent in Luxembourg.
